Welcome to the Workcovre and Injury Network

This web site has been set up as a resource tool for injured workers, employers, health care providers and stakeholders who need to navigate the ever changing landscape of the NSW Workers Compensation system or other systems.  We will be providing you with the information you really need that is relevant to your situation.  We are also interested in getting your feedback about the experiences you have within the relevant system.

We are also now providing services and support under the new NDIS Scheme. To find our information and services related to the NDIS please visit our sister website here.

PLEASE REVIEW OUR ARTICLE ON EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF WORKPLACE INJURIES AND OUR LATEST ARTICLE ON THE LATEST CHANGES TO WORKERS COMPENSATION IN NSW- WHAT DO THEY MEAN AND DOES ANYBODY CARE?

There are 3 important components to this site to fill our objectives:

1. Information  -  We will providing you with information relevant to your function within the system. This may include obligations and rights,  information you must know things you should know, where to get more information, and the latest published information about injury management and return to work issues.  Workcover NSW and other Authorities provide some of this information to all key stakeholders, however, there are occasions when some important information may not be readily accessible or available unless it is sought after a problems occurs.  We hope to help minimise difficulties for you.

2. Your feedback - There will be a blog section where “expert opinions” are offered on particular subjects and you can respond, or to generally make comments about issues you have experienced navigating one or another aspect of a system.

3. Research - We will be regularly offering stakeholders the opportunity to respond to specific questions about a particular issues or aspect of a system.  Some of our surveys will be ongoing, others will have a time line, so that the data can be analysed and feedback can be given back to relevant stakeholders.   We hope that our research findings will be considered when “policy makers” attempt to evaluate the effectiveness of the system they have orchestrated.

The information is a guide only and we encourage you to seek professional assistance as required.
