All employers play a critical role in the prevention and management of workplace injuries. All are subject to workers compensation legislation pertaining to injury prevention and management if, and when injuries do occur. Strict penalties are in place for employers who do not adhere to the legislative guidelines, particularly if the breach results in a notifiable incident or injury.

Workers compensation rules and procedures are inherently complex and can be overwhelming for employers trying to run a business and do what they are supposed to do.
