Hello and welcome from Cherie Marantz and Peter Tingle to our new website. We are small business owners and health service providers who have been working in the Workplace Health and Safety and Injury Management industry for over twenty five years. In that time we have worked in a range of workers compensation and motor vehicle insurance jurisdictions and have seen the best and worst of what has been dished out to the stakeholders. This site has been researched and developed with input from employers, rehabilitation providers, injured workers, lawyers, treatment providers and injury management experts.
One of the biggest gripes we have had from injured workers, treatment providers and employers is the difficulty they have in accessing useful information about workplace health and injury management. This is particulary important when reliable and accurate information is essential for an important decision that needs to be made. Our research encompassing the experiences of many tells us that there is information available if you search hard enough for it, however it may be hard to find or difficult to access. It may be excessively detailed and longwinded, for example, the details of entire Workers Compensation Act. At other time the information may lack in sufficient detail for you to get the facts you need. We will provide the esssential information in a way that is easy to read, easy to understand and targets our respective audiences - all at no cost.
Cherie is an Occupational Therapist trained in mediation, complex injury management, claims reviews, driving assessments and WHS consultancy/risk assessments/and manual handling training.
Peter in a Psychologist who also has vast experience in complex injury management, mediation, training eg for supervisors on how to manage mental health issues in the workforce and on preventing bullying, and organisational psychology such as team building.
